From a humble tent revivalist to the founder of a multimillion-dollar empire, Roberts pioneered the "Seed-Faith" theology—the blueprint for the modern Prosperity Gospel. In this video, we explore his massive rise to fame, the founding of Oral Roberts University, and the scandals that defined his later years, including the infamous "900-foot Jesus" vision and his life-or-death fundraising ultimatums. A nostalgic look back at what it really meant to grow up in the 1980s. Inspired by Bryant Adkins’ 1995 essay “Don’t Call Me Generation X,” this video revisits the sights, sounds, toys, TV shows, and cultural moments that shaped a generation of kids who grew up before the internet. From playing Atari 2600 and staging epic battles between G.I. Joe and Transformers, to waking up early for Saturday morning cartoons like Scooby-Doo, Snorks, and Captain Caveman, childhood in the 80s had its own rhythm. MTV actually played music videos, Nickelodeon had shows like You Can’t Do That on Television, and movies like Indiana Jones and Revenge of the Nerds filled theaters. It was a time of Charlie Brown lunchboxes, Kool-Aid thermoses, Little Debbie snack cakes, Cub Scout Pinewood Derbies, school recess, rubber band fights, and family road trips. It was also a decade marked by real moments that everyone remembers, like the Challenger explosion in 1986. If any of this sounds familiar, you probably weren’t “Generation X.” You were a child of the eighties.

Michael Dunn (1934–1973) was an American actor best known for his work in television and film, particularly his role as Dr. Miguelito Loveless in the 1960s series The Wild Wild West. Despite his small stature due to dwarfism, Dunn had a commanding presence and was known for his wit and charisma. He received an Academy Award nomination for his role in Ship of Fools (1965). Dunn passed away at the age of 38 and is buried in Sunset Memorial Park in Norman, Oklahoma. His grave is a modest resting place, reflecting his unique life and legacy in entertainment.
